Methods & Glossary

Amazon only • Seller Central (SP-API) + Amazon Ads • Collagen ASINs
Collagen
Every SKU in sku_mapping.csv whose product group is —, and their child ASINs. Add or drop a SKU there and the dashboard follows on the next build; the group list itself is the COLLAGEN_GROUPS setting at the top of collagen_dashboard.py. Collagen Booster (capsules), TriCollagen and Beauty Collagen are not included.
Ordered Sales
Ordered product sales for the Collagen ASINs, summed over the week — gross, before refunds, the number Harvest's weekly review calls "Sales". Source: Seller Central Sales & Traffic by ASIN by day (Business_Reports_-_ASIN_Totals_by_Day__Historical_.csv, the Performance Dashboard's Amazon sales feed). Units are units ordered from the same report.
Ad Spend
Amazon Ads cost on Collagen: Sponsored Products and Sponsored Display by advertised ASIN (or SKU); Sponsored Brands campaigns carry no ASIN, so they count when the campaign name says Collagen / Multi Collagen / AMC (Booster campaigns excluded) — the matched campaigns are listed below. DSP is not in the feed and is not counted. Source: Amazon_Ads_Performance__Historical_.csv (daily Nucleus pull, from —). Spend is as reported by the Ads API; the monthly "Extra AMZ Spend" true-up in Historical Spend Gaps is not applied.
New Customers
Shoppers whose first-ever BioTRUST purchase on Amazon included a Collagen SKU, counted on the day of that first order — organic and ad-driven alike, not just ad-attributed. Same report and same rule as the Performance Dashboard's Amazon New Users: the FBA fulfilled-shipments report carries Amazon's anonymized but stable per-buyer id on every shipped item (sales channel amazon.com only), and a buyer is new on the earliest purchase date they appear with anywhere in the store (_fulfilled_shipments/raw, history from —). Two consequences. First, the report trails orders by one to two weeks, so the newest weeks keep filling in as items ship: a week's shipped buyers are compared with its distinct Collagen orders (Amazon_Orders_by_Day__Historical_.csv) and the week is treated as final once 90% of orders have shipped rows — until then its new-customer and buyer counts are italic and flagged "still filling in". Second, "new" is only as good as the history behind it — a week with fewer than 12 months of buyer history behind it overcounts (everyone looks new at the start of history). Those last-year cells are italic. "Buyers" in the table is distinct Collagen buyers that week, new or returning.
YoY
This week ÷ the same week last year − 1, where last year is the week ending 364 days earlier (same weekday, so Prime events line up). A last-year cell is blank when that feed did not exist yet.
TACoS
Ad Spend ÷ Ordered Sales — total advertising cost of sales, organic sales included.
Cost per New Customer
Ad Spend ÷ New Customers.
Weeks
Sunday–Saturday, labelled by the Saturday they end on, matching Harvest's weekly review. Only complete weeks that every feed covers are shown; the current week never appears. Scorecards compare the last 1 / 4 / 13 complete weeks with the same weeks last year. The chart marks —; shaded table rows are weeks on or after that date.
Refresh
Rebuilt nightly on the Mac after the Seller Central, Ads and fulfilled-shipments pulls, from the same files the Performance Dashboard reads (sales through —, ads through —, shipments through — at this build).
Collagen ASINs (ordered sales, last 52 weeks)
Sponsored Brands campaigns counted as Collagen by name (all time)
